Container Number

A container number is an alpha-numeric sequence made up of 4 alphabets and 7 numbers. The first three letters identify the owner, the fourth letter is the equipment category identifier, followed by a six-digit serial number and a single check digit.

This unique identifier lets carriers and forwarders track a container anywhere in the world. When you track a shipment with Veer-Freight, this is one of the references we use.
