What are Incoterms?

Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) are the selling terms that the buyer and seller of goods both agree to during international trade. They define who is responsible for cost, risk and insurance at each stage of the journey.

Common terms include EXW (Ex Works), FOB (Free On Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Choosing the right Incoterm protects both parties and avoids costly misunderstandings.

Veer-Freight advises clients on the most appropriate Incoterm for each transaction.
